How CNN defeated ISIS without a gun...

Media Impact...

We all probably know, how powerful "Media" in today's world can be... Perhaps they can make or spoil fate of a person.. Shape an opinion or create a wave in a society...

What we do not know, is that Media can actually participate and beat something as brutal and killer as ISIS... It will be CNN or BBC who will be defeating ISIS...
How ??

It has been 2 weeks since US presidential election results have been declared...
The whole world of Intellectuals, leftists and seculars had  already declared Hillary Clinton to be the next president of US...  CNN and BBC were busy showing the lousy and not so polished side of Mr Trump.. the more negative they painted him, more it looked like Hillary will win...

But, the common US citizen had some other plans... he kept all the hullabaloo at bay and elected Mr Trump as his next president... Had it not been a non-stop campaign from all the media houses to target Mr Trump, he would have never stood a chance to win... By constantly targetting him, they contributed to a sympathetic factor of Mr Trump being alienated and targetted for all wrong reasons which worked a great way in closely contested election...

Wait, but the title of the article says " How CNN defeated ISIS without a gun... " so where the hell ISIS comes in US elections...

Remember, It was Hillary clinton as a Foreign affairs minister in Obama cabinet... So all the decisions were taken under her... US under Bush and Obama considered Saudi as their allies and hence did ignore the wrongdoings from Saudi kings and prince... Now the Saudi's are Sunni muslims and cannot bear with a Shia rule in its neighborhood... they would do whatever it takes to wipe out Shias from the face of this earth...
So, it goes like this...
In Syria, A Shia leader, Col Gaddafi was ruling a comparatively stable and progressive govt... In order to bring the state under Sunni influence, an uprising was planned and supported by Saudi... They provided funds and ammunition to the rebels for unsettling the establishment...

a new extremist organization is born.. we call it ISIS today... US knew this all the time but wanted to be in good books of the Saudi Kings hence chose to ignore...
When ISIS starts to become a threat to entire developed civilization, US needs to step in... but instead of acting against ISIS, which is actually a friend of friend (Saudi) it tries to contain them and instead chose to make #1 priority - remove the Shia dominated govt from Syria... so we can see US priorities defined by Saudis...
Here comes the twist...
Russia under leadership of Mr Putin, senses the chance to grab the central position in world politics, it once had... it steps in and starts attaking ISIS and supports existing Syrian establishment...
So now we have, ISIS fighting Syrian govt , Russia Backing Syrian Govt, US fighting ISIS (at least pretending to) and backing rebel groups who fight against Syrian govt, US supporting Saudi and Saudi backing ISIS...

With the win of Mr Trump, all the equations are set to change and same can be sensed from Obama's decision last week after meeting with Trump to abandon the rebel groups, US once harbored... US has agreed to join hands wit Russia and Syrian govt to attack the ISIS groups
For the reason that all the ulgy faces of US deeds will come out in open when new president takes over, Obama must bury the evidences  that US played  dirty...

Trump already made it clear that he will be more inclined towards Mr Putin and will be least interested in Saudi or Pakistan for that matter...

Had CNN and other Media houses not played their part, win was very much impossible for Mr Trump and the same old game would have continued ... but by unnecessarily attaking mr Trump too much, they have contributed unknowingly towards a decisive battle against ISIS...

ओरखडे आणि चरे ….

जानेवारी महिन्यातील गोष्ट … चक्क रविवारच्या पहाटे (हक्काची) झोप-बीप सगळ सोडून मी मुंबई हून पुण्याच्या प्रवासाला निघालो … अर्थात त्या मध्ये सुद्धा स्वार्थ होताच … ११-१२ पर्यंत पुण्यात पोचलो तर रविवारची हक्काची मिसळ मित्रांच्या कंपू सोबत गप्पा मारत खाणे "हेचि फळ मम तपाला " मिळण्याची आशा मनी धरून मी ट्रेन मध्ये पाय ठेवला …

खिडकीची जागा, पहाटेचा गारवा (मुंबई मध्ये या वर्षी स्वेटर ची तडाखेबंद विक्री झालेली आहे - त्या मुळे थंडी होती हि गोष्ट पुराव्याने शाबित … ) अस सगळं जुळून आलं आणि मी लवकरच समाधी अवस्थेत प्रवेश केला… (ज्ञानेश्वरांचा रेडा होतास मागच्या जन्मी म्हणून इतक्या पटकन समाधी लागते तुझी - इति आई )
आजूबाजूचा गोंधळ, मुलांचे आणि फेरीवाल्यांचे आवाज सवयीचे झाले होते त्यामुळे त्याने झोपमोड होण्याचा प्रश्नच नव्हत… पण थोड्याच वेळात डब्ब्यात एक (लोणावळा) चिक्की, शेंगदाणे फुटाणे ई विकणारा माणूस आला …
(विषयांतर- खांबेटेखुर्द नावाच्या गावात जिथे दिवसातून एकच यष्टी येते, तिथे सुद्धा मिळणारी चिक्की लोणावळ्याचीच कशी काय असते बुवा ?? विषयांतर समाप्त )
त्याने entry मारल्याबरोबर त्याच्या खड्या  आवाजाने मी जागा झालो … जवळपास १५-२० मिनिटं तो तिथेच उभा राहून चिकाटीने  आणि त्याच्या दणदणीत आवाजात त्याच्या "मालाचं" मार्केटिंग करत होता… त्या खड्या (खरं तर भसाड्या) आवाजाने मी जवळपास दचकुनच डोळे उघडले …
"भट्टी मधून आणलेले शेंगदाणे घ्या , ताजे ताजे शेंगदाणे" "मुगाची डाळ घ्या, पचायला हलकी, प्रोटीन युक्त , डॉक्टरांची पण लाडकी" "बेसन मसाला लावलेले दाणे, चटका लावतील जिभेला आणि जड नाही खिशाला" अशी अथक बडबड चालू होती … खरं तर मी झोपमोड झाल्याने वैतागलो होतो … पण ५ मिनिटं गेली आणि मी त्याचं ते मार्केटिंग कुतूहलाने बघायला लागलो … सतत ओरडून त्याला तहान लागली असेल असं वाटत होतं … म्हणलं घ्यावे थोडे दाणे आणि विचारावं पाणी हवं  आहे का … पण अंगातल्या पांढरपेशा अलिप्ततेने जणू हात बांधून  घातले आणि तो निघून गेला ….

नंतर मनाच्या आरशावर पडलेला तो चरा किती तरी वेळ मला अस्वस्थ करत होता …

असे किती चरे आणि किती ओरखडे घेऊन आपण जगात वावरतो आणि नंतर नंतर त्यांचीही सवय होऊन जाते … त्रास होईनासा होतो …
रस्त्याकडेला एखादी म्हातारी केविलवाण्या चेहऱ्याने उभी असते… हातात मोठी पिशवी आणि वर उन्हाचा तडाखा …  रस्त्यावरचे सगळे स्वार बाजीरावाने घोडा पळवावा अशा थाटात दौडत असतात … वाटत बाईक थांबवून म्हातारीला रस्ता ओलांडून द्यावा… पण वेगात असलेली गाडी तितक्यात पुढे निघून जाते आणि आपण परत फिरून यायचं टाळतो … स्लो असतो तर केली असती मदत या खोट्या बहाण्यानी आणि अजून एका ओरखड्याची नक्षी घेऊन आपण पुढेच जातो …
कार घेऊन जाताना लिफ्ट मागायला थांबलेले हात, "मला काहीच दिसलं नाही " अशा आविर्भावात आपण झिडकारतो … मिळतो फक्त एक चरा ….

आई - बाबा सांगत असतात, अरे कधी तरी वेळ काढ … घराची सफाई करून घेऊ दिवाळी आधी … आपल्याला वेळ मिळत नसतो …शेवटी वैतागून तेच सफाई करून घेतात जमेल तशी … संध्याकाळी घरी गेल्यावर दिसतात ते दिवसभरच्या कामाने दमून गेलेले तरी कोणतीही तक्रार नसलेले चेहरे …

हे चरे आपल्याला सतत त्रास देत असतात … आणि सगळ्यात गमतीची गोष्ट म्हणजे हे सगळं  तुम्ही कोणाशीच शेअर नाही करत … कारण त्यात तुमचीच इमेज खराब होणार असते … म्हणून हातात घुसलेल्या लाकडाच्या सडि सारख ते आपल्याला टोचत राहत … रक्त येत नाही आणि जीवाला स्वस्थता पण नाही …

असेच ओरखडे पडत पडत आपल्या समोरचा आरसा धुसर होत जातो … आपण मुळात असे नाहीये हे माहित असतं पण तरी आपल्या समोरचा आरसा आपलं खरं रूप दाखवत असतोच …

असो, आता ठरवलंय समोरचा आरसा स्वच्छ करायचा … रोज एक तरी चरा  कमी करायचा … बघूया किती जमतंय ते …
